设定资料（中文）：被推测是机械化旅团「D-旅团」的最终决战兵器的改造型数码兽。有一个怎么看都像是谣言的情报称，在排除代号称为「BAN-TYO」的「目标」的作战中，遭击毁的坦克龙兽被回收之后，在「D-旅团」的研究机关中进化成暗龙兽。进化时似乎使用了大量的「暗物质（Dark Matter）」，进化之后失控、逃亡，现在「D-旅团」好像也没能掌握暗龙兽的消息。据说如今仍在彷徨地追寻代号「BAN-TYO」。必杀技「黑暗咆哮」是把「暗物质」作为能量弹放出的禁忌大招，据说这个世上没有任何东西受到此技攻击后还能存活。另外，装备在右臂的「千兆刺杀枪」能匹敌公爵兽所持圣枪「格拉墨」。

设定资料（日文）：機械化旅団「D－ブリガード」の最終決戦兵器であると推測されるサイボーグ型デジモン。あくまで噂の域を出ない情報だが、コードネーム「BAN-TYO」と呼ばれる「目標」を排除する作戦で撃墜されたタンクドラモンが回収され、「D－ブリガード」の研究機関においてダークドラモンへと進化したと言われている。進化の際に大量の「ダークマター」が使用されたらしく、進化後に暴走・逃亡し、現在は「D-ブリガード」もダークドラモンの消息をつかめていないらしい。今でもコードネーム「BAN-TYO」を探し彷徨っているというが・・・。必殺技『ダークロアー』は「ダークマター」をエネルギー弾として打ち放つ禁断の大技で、これを受けて生き延びるものはこの世界に皆無と言われている。また右手にはデュークモンが持つ聖槍グラムに匹敵する『ギガスティックランス』が仕込まれている。

Gigastic Lance: Inflicts 877 to 1094 pitch black-attribute damage with 3 sec cooldown, consuming 53 DS. Obtained at level 41.

Dark Roar: Inflicts 3060 to 3368 pitch black-attribute damage with 8 sec cooldown, consuming 184 DS. Obtained at level 46.

Its previous evolution is Tankdramon. (requires x6 Evoluters)
