Q: Evolve Legacy and Evolve Stage 2 are the same?

Cabot> No, Evolve "Legacy" was the first original game released in 2015. Evolve Stage 2 was released in 2016 as an F2P update with somewhat different gameplay. BUT, In your Steam library it is listed as Evolve Stage 2 you can switch between versions, only one at a time

Griffin> If you bought it, you played it when it was F2P from your Steam library. If you never played it, the only way is to buy a key.

Caira> There are methods pinned in the game-support channel. Physical Copies will contain a Steam Key so if you don't have a disc drive, you can just add the game digitally.

Sunny> follow the step 1> Right-click Evolve in Steam and select "Properties" 2> Go to the "Betas" tab 3> In the dropdown, select "legacyevolve - The Original Evolve Product" 4> Click "Close" 5> Wait for the game to download the differences 6> Enjoy Legacy Evolve NOTE, In step 3 Evolve Legacy is "legacyevolve - The Original Evolve Product" and is 40GB in weight, select "None" for Evolve Stage 2 which is 20GB in weight

Lennox> This means that you do not own the older version of Evolve (before it went Free to Play). If you previously owned Evolve (during it's initial release) it should be a 40GB file. You would only need the Legacy files, ask your friends to share their files with you.

Abe> Nope. Those guys came out after legacy's release. Legacy runs on an older version of Evolve, if you need more help on differences between Stage 2 and Legacy, there's a guide posted in the pinned messages of evolve-school .
