The Linguistic Origins of Cyno and Cryo Theories: Discussing the Impact of Excessive Use of Elements on the Sumeru Language Style

Li Chuanyue(Yuehai Pavilion, Liyue)

Abstract: This paper focuses on the linguistic origins of Cyno and Cryo theories proposed by the Academy of Vahumana from Akademiya. Furthermore, the paper examines how excessive use of Dendro elements has impacted the language style of the Sumeru people. By carefully examining the linguistic narratives and cultural backgrounds based on the Dendro element, this paper aims to provide a deeper understanding of the world and its underlying linguistic structures.

Introduction: The continent of Teyvat is a world composed of seven elements, each with unique attributes and characteristics. The Dendro element is one of these elements and plays a crucial role in the natural world by providing nutrients and oxygen to the plants. The the Academy of Vahumana from Akademiya is an academic institution in Teyvat that is dedicated to exploring the impact of elements on language and culture and has proposed an indirect impact path of excessive use of the Dendro element on the language and culture of the people of Teyvat. However, the direct impact has not been fully explored. Teyvat's Cyno and others have pointed out the linguistic origins of the Cryo and Cyno elements: from the perspective of word form, Cryo and Cyno are likely to come from the same word source, κρύος, meaning "icy, cold, frosty." This explains to some extent the language style of Cyno under the influence of the Cryo element and why Cyno can always tell bad jokes which makes people feel chilly. However, in addition to the Cryo element, the locally enriched Dendro element has also had a great influence on the language style of Teyvat, which has been overlooked in previous studies. This article aims to explore the direct impact of the Dendro element on the language style of Teyvat through the study of the linguistic origins and cultural backgrounds of the Dendro element and Cyno, to provide a deeper understanding of Teyvat's language structure and culture.

Methods:

In this study, we analyzed the language usage of the General Mahamatra, Cyno, by collecting language data in different contexts in areas with different Dendro element concentrations.

1. Data Collection

We used Cyno's language data in areas with a high concentration of Dendro element as the experimental group and language data in areas with a low concentration of Dendro element as the control group. Specifically, we collected Cyno's spoken language data as he traveled to the Mondstadt region dominated by the Anemo element and compared it to his language data in the richly Dendro element area of Sumeru. In each environment, we collected about 10 minutes of language data covering phonology, grammar, vocabulary, and semantics.

2. Data Process

We then used language statistical analysis tools to analyze the two sets of language data collected from Cyno in different environments. By comparing Cyno's language characteristics in different contexts, we examined whether the Dendro element had an impact on Cyno's language usage.

3. Result

The results of the analysis showed that Cyno's pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary usage changed in areas with a high concentration of Dendro element compared to those in areas with a low concentration of Dendro element. Specifically, in areas with a high concentration of Dendro element, Cyno's final vowel lengthened, and the range of vowel changes was wider in his pronunciation. In terms of grammar usage, Cyno used more manner adverbs, such as approximating adverbs, in areas with a high concentration of Dendro element. For vocabulary selection, Cyno used more Dendro-related words, such as "Cao", in areas with a high concentration of Dendro element.

4. Analysis

The Dendro element's impact on Cyno's language expression is related to the biological activity of the Dendro element and Cyno's metabolic process. Specifically, the Dendro element can affect human metabolism and nervous system function, which further affects language expression. In areas with a high concentration of Dendro element, the atmosphere contains higher levels of Dendro element. When Cyno breathes, eats, and absorbs these Dendro elements in this environment, they enter his body and reach various organs and tissues through the circulatory system. The Dendro element can affect the secretion of neurotransmitters and hormones in the human body, causing changes in various physiological processes. These physiological processes include but are not limited to changes in metabolic rate, activation of the immune system, and excitation and inhibition of the nervous system.

Conclusion:

In summary, the Dendro element affects Cyno's language expression and frequency by influencing his physiological processes and nervous system function. Therefore, to further explore the relationship between the Dendro element and language expression, we need to investigate how the Dendro element affects human physiological and nervous system mechanisms, and further study its impact on human language usage and cognition.
