I’m just gonna speak for East Asian only but, from my experience Japanese girls are the most feminine out of Chinese, Korean and Japanese, with the gap being much bigger between Chinese and Korean/Japanese than between Korean and Japanese. Most Chinese girls I know act like guys and dress like guys.
Korean girls are more similar to Japanese girls, but are more likely to express their minds more. From what I seen, Japanese girls are really passive, don’t express themselves as openly, and try really hard to be “cute”. Fashion wise, they are probably the most perse out of all of them. Compared to Korean girls who are almost all about short skirts and one piece dresses (even in the winter), and Chinese girls who as I mentioned just dress like men (pants and jeans mostly).
Makeup wise in Korean and Japanese culture both, the girls wear makeup because it is a form of manners in their culture. Again Chinese being the exception here, a lot of girls don’t wear makeup because they don’t give a damn.
Uniquely amongst them, Japanese girls seem to have something going on with their teeth… not sure what the ‘crooked teeth’ thing is about, maybe they think it looks cute.
As an apt example let me demonstrate the stereotypes of these three by doing slightly racist exaggerations:

化妆方面，日韩女孩都化妆，因为在这他们的文化中是一种礼貌。而中国女孩是例外，很多女孩甚至不化妆，因为他们根本不在乎。
尤其特别的是，日本女孩的牙齿貌似很不一样，不知道“破牙”是怎么回事，貌似他们认为这很好看。

I don’t know too much about other Asian girls except for Chinese girls. My answer is just based on personal experience and it is quite general. It would be different from person to person.
Much politer than Chinese girls. All the Chinese girls I know curse sometimes.
Japanese girls are more femme than Chinese girls. Japanese girls seem care a lot about keep this characteristic. I’m not sure it is good or not.
Japanese girls and women all want to be cute. To be cute is good, but… I don’t know, if most of girls aim to be cute it becomes kind of unrealistic and, how can I say, boring.
Japanese girls are not as independent as Chinese girls. Japanese girls seem to mind a lot about others’ opinions, which restrict their own mind and behavior. I think it has a lot to do with the lower status of female in the society comparing their male counterpart. Taking makeup as an example, I heard Japanese society encourage girls to wear makeup at a very young age, and it is not polite if women not wear makeup. Some said Chinese girls should do the same on the Chinese version of Quora and got a lot of “go fk yourself”.
Japanese girls, maybe also other Japanese, are harder to be comprehended. It might be Japanese culture. It seems Japanese do not express themselves directly. It makes others confuse sometimes. It’s hard to know what they really think about. I think it is a huge barrier in interpersonal communication.
Talking about shyness, some Chinese girls are shy too, but Japanese girls might be shyer.
These are all the things I can think of now. People are different. My friend’s Japanese girlfriend is quite opening up and independent.

除了中国女孩，我对其他亚洲女孩并不是很了解。我的回答仅基于我个人的经历，而我的经历相当普通。
日本女孩比中国女孩有礼貌多了。我所认识的所有中国女孩有时候还会骂人。

日本女孩没有中国女孩独立。日本女孩貌似很在乎他人的看法，这限制了他们的思想和行为。我认为这与女性社会地位低有关。以化妆为例子，我听说日本社会鼓励女孩子很小的时候就开始化妆，而且女性不化妆是不礼貌的。有人在中国知乎上说中国女孩也应该这样，结果被很多人破口大骂。
日本女孩更难以捉摸。这可能是日本文化的原因。貌似日本人并不会直白的表示自己的看法。这令旁人感到困惑。很难知道他们真正的想法是什么。我认为这是人际交往当中的一个巨大障碍。
说到害羞，有些中国女孩也很害羞，但是日本女孩可能更害羞。
这些就是我现在所能想到的。每个人都不一样。我朋友的日本女友就相当开放和独立。
